  • 1 pound Beef Kielbasa or smoked turkey for a lighter option
  • 2 cups Pineapple Chunks fresh pineapple enhances the tropical vibe
  • 20 pieces Plain Toothpicks soak in water to prevent burning
For the Glaze
  • 1/2 cup Teriyaki Sauce can substitute with soy sauce mixed with ginger
  • 1/4 cup Sweet Chili Sauce adjust quantity to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Honey agave syrup is a possible alternative
  • 2 tablespoons Pineapple Juice optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Soak plain toothpicks in water for about 20 minutes to prevent burning.
  3. Assemble the bites by placing a slice of beef kielbasa on the baking sheet, topping with a pineapple chunk, and inserting a soaked toothpick.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, sweet chili sauce, honey, and optional pineapple juice.
  5. Brush the glaze over each assembled bite.
  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the glaze bubbles and caramelizes.
  7. Allow the bites to cool for a few minutes before serving.
