Method

Preparation Steps
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 8 ounces of softened cream cheese with 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk. Using a hand mixer or whisk, blend until smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes. Gradually add in 1 package of French vanilla pudding mix and 2 cups of milk, mixing until there are no lumps, approximately 3 minutes.
  2. In a large glass dish or trifle bowl, layer 1 cup of vanilla wafers at the bottom to form a sturdy base.
  3. Slice 2 ripe bananas and layer them evenly over the vanilla wafers, followed by 1 cup of fresh strawberries.
  4. Gently pour half of the creamy pudding mixture over the layered fruit, ensuring even distribution.
  5. Add another layer of vanilla wafers, followed by the remaining banana slices and strawberries. Pour the rest of the creamy pudding mixture over this new layer.
  6. Spread 2 cups of whipped topping evenly over the final layer of pudding.
  7. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
