  • Small zip-top bag
  • Serving Platter

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by gently tapping the cooled, hard-boiled eggs on a countertop to create fine cracks in the shells.
  2. In a bowl, mix water with 1 teaspoon of black food coloring gel and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, then soak the cracked eggs for at least 3 hours.
  3. After soaking, carefully rinse the eggs under cold water to remove excess dye. Peel the eggs gently to keep the spiderweb patterns.
  4. Cut each peeled egg in half lengthwise and scoop the yolks into a mixing bowl. Mash yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Transfer the yolk mixture into a piping bag or a zip-top bag with the corner snipped off. Pipe the filling back into the egg whites.
  6. Sprinkle smoked paprika, black sesame seeds, or chopped chives on top of the filled eggs. Serve chilled.
