Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Thaw the puff pastry according to package instructions, then roll out to about 1/16 inch thick and prick with a fork.
  2. Cut circles from the pastry, about 3 inches in diameter, and arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Grate Gruyère cheese and sprinkle on each pastry circle, then add tomato slices and season with salt, pepper, and thyme.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
