  • 1 handful Arugula For a peppery freshness that complements the flatbread nicely.
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil Drizzled over the base for flavor and to prevent sticking.
  • Freshly Cracked Black Pepper To taste; it adds a lovely depth of flavor to the dish.

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it.
  2. Place the puff pastry or flatbread on the baking sheet and drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil evenly over the base.
  3. Thinly slice your ripe pears and layer them on the flatbread, slightly overlapping each slice.
  4. Evenly scatter the crumbled Gorgonzola cheese over the pear layers.
  5. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until the edges are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  6. Once baked, let it cool for about 2 minutes, then drizzle honey, sprinkle walnuts, arugula, and black pepper on top.
