Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Rub chicken breasts with olive oil and season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Sear chicken in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat for about 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Chop green onions and prepare your BBQ sauce while chicken is searing.
  6. Pour BBQ sauce over the chicken, then add shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon on top.
  7. Bake chicken in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
