- Pound the pork chops to a uniform thickness of about 1/4 inch on a cutting board.
- In a bowl, combine garlic powder, salt, Shaoxing wine, and sesame oil to create a marinade. Marinate the pork for 15-20 minutes.
- Prepare the sauce by whisking together honey, light soy sauce, lemon juice, white pepper, black pepper, and water.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (176°C).
- Coat marinated pork in the cornstarch and flour mixture, and fry in batches for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- After frying, sauté minced garlic in the skillet for about 30 seconds.
- Add the prepared sauce to the skillet and stir constantly until it thickens into a syrupy consistency.
