Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare muffin pan.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, stollen spice, sugar, and dried fruits in a bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk together egg, buttermilk or yogurt, and melted butter until creamy.
- Gently fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined.
- Fill each muffin cup about 3/4 full with the batter.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until tops are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
