Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, salt, and pepper.
  3. Press the meatloaf mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 20 minutes.
  4. Cook the macaroni in salted boiling water according to package instructions, then drain.
  5. In a saucepan, melt butter and add flour to create a roux; whisk for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in milk and whisk until thickened. Add salt, pepper, paprika, mustard, and shredded cheese.
  7. Stir the drained macaroni into the cheese sauce until well coated.
  8. Pour the macaroni and cheese sauce over the cooked meatloaf, sprinkle extra cheese on top.
  9. Bake for an additional 25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
