  • 1 tablespoon Honey Maple syrup is a suitable replacement.
For Garnishing
  • Sesame Seeds Can be omitted if not available.

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Add 1 pound of sliced chicken breast, sauté for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through, then set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add 2 cloves of minced garlic and 1 tablespoon of minced ginger, sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add sliced bell pepper and onion, stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender but still crisp.
  5. Combine 3 tablespoons of gochujang, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, and 1 tablespoon of honey in a bowl and mix well.
  6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, pour the sauce over, and stir to coat, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving hot over steamed rice or noodles.
