Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sliced jalapenos, and garlic powder in a mixing bowl and mix until smooth.
  3. Lightly dust your work surface with flour and roll out the puff pastry to about 1/4 inch thick, cutting it into strips approximately 2 inches wide.
  4. Spoon a generous portion of the cheese filling onto one half of each pastry strip, fold the other half over, pinch to seal, and twist the pastry strip.
  5. Whisk an egg and lightly coat the tops of each twist with the egg wash.
  6. Place the twists on the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
