  • 2 tbsp Honey maple syrup can be used as a vegan alternative
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon can omit or substitute with nutmeg
  • 1 cup Apples (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith) sliced thinly
  • 1 cup Fresh Arugula optional, can be replaced with spinach

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Carefully slice each croissant in half horizontally.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened goat cheese, honey, and cinnamon. Mix until creamy and well-blended.
  4. Spread a layer of the goat cheese mixture on the bottom half of each croissant and layer thinly sliced apples on top.
  5. Add fresh arugula on top of the apple slices if desired.
  6. Place the assembled sandwiches in the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes until warm.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool briefly before serving.
