  • 1 cup peanut butter opt for chunky for texture
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal can substitute with Cocoa Krispies or Chex

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large saucepan, combine the corn syrup and powdered sugar over medium heat. Stir constantly until the mixture comes to a rolling boil, which should take about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Remove the saucepan from the heat and immediately stir in the peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Fold the Rice Krispies cereal into the peanut butter mixture until fully coated.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto silicone mats or waxed paper; let cool for about 5-10 minutes.
  5. Roll the cooled mixture into 1-inch diameter balls.
  6. Allow the shaped balls to cool and set completely at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
