- In a large saucepan, combine the corn syrup and powdered sugar over medium heat. Stir constantly until the mixture comes to a rolling boil, which should take about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and immediately stir in the peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Fold the Rice Krispies cereal into the peanut butter mixture until fully coated.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto silicone mats or waxed paper; let cool for about 5-10 minutes.
- Roll the cooled mixture into 1-inch diameter balls.
- Allow the shaped balls to cool and set completely at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
