- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and mix the brownie ingredients according to package instructions. Pour into a greased 9x9 inch baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Trim any crispy edges and cut the brownies into squares, then mold into about 12 cone shapes.
- Place the brownie cones upright on a baking sheet, and insert the sliced almonds to create 'scales'.
- Freeze the decorated cones for about 30 minutes to maintain their shape.
- Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in the microwave until smooth. Dip each cone into the melted chocolate.
- Return the coated brownies to parchment paper and sprinkle with powdered sugar for decoration.
- Allow chocolate to set completely before serving.
