  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips Choose dairy-free, refined sugar-free options like Hu Kitchen.
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut Oil For melting the chocolate.
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar Use powdered monk fruit as a refined sugar-free alternative if desired.

Equipment

  • 9x9-inch Baking Pan
  • wire rack
  • Microwave-safe bowl

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and mix the brownie ingredients according to package instructions. Pour into a greased 9x9 inch baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  2. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  3. Trim any crispy edges and cut the brownies into squares, then mold into about 12 cone shapes.
  4. Place the brownie cones upright on a baking sheet, and insert the sliced almonds to create 'scales'.
  5. Freeze the decorated cones for about 30 minutes to maintain their shape.
  6. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in the microwave until smooth. Dip each cone into the melted chocolate.
  7. Return the coated brownies to parchment paper and sprinkle with powdered sugar for decoration.
  8. Allow chocolate to set completely before serving.
