Method
 

Brownies
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8-inch baking pan with non-stick spray or parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter and let it cool slightly.
  3. Combine melted butter with granulated sugar, large eggs, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Gradually mix in cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Frosting
  1. Dissolve the instant coffee granules in heavy whipping cream. Beat softened butter until light and fluffy.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar while mixing until smooth, then add the cream mixture.
