Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Generously season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small pan over low heat, melt the butter and stir in minced garlic and chopped thyme.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the pork chops for 2 minutes on each side.
  5. Baste the pork chops with garlic-thyme butter and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 10–14 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  7. Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving with the buttery sauce spooned over the top.
