Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9” x 13” baking pan with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar, melted unsalted butter, vegetable oil, eggs, and molasses. Mix well for about 2-3 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, kosher salt, and ground spices.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Stir in a splash of vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. After that, turn the oven off and let the brownies sit inside for an additional 15 minutes.
  7. Remove the brownies from the oven and allow them to cool completely in the pan before slicing.
