Step-by-Step Instructions for Fried Egg Quesadilla
- Begin by heating a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add a small pat of butter and let it melt until it begins to foam.
- Crack each large egg directly into the hot skillet, season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until whites are set and yolks remain soft.
- In the same skillet, place a flour tortilla down and sprinkle half of the shredded cheese evenly over it.
- Carefully lay the fried eggs on top of the cheese, then follow with the sliced avocado. Scatter the remaining cheese over everything.
- Top off your quesadilla with the second tortilla, pressing it down gently and cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until crispy.
- Once cooked, remove the quesadilla from the skillet and let it cool slightly. Slice into wedges for serving.
