Step-by-Step Instructions for Wisconsin Apple Kringle
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, cold butter, sugar, yeast, and milk. Mix until a soft dough forms, then wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  2. Peel and thinly slice the apples. Mix with sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside.
