Preparation
- Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, allowing overhang for easy removal.
- In a saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, white chocolate chips, and peppermint extract over low heat. Stir until melted and smooth, about 5-7 minutes.
- Divide the mixture into two bowls. Stir semi-sweet chocolate chips into one bowl. In the other bowl, add red food coloring if desired.
- Pour the first chocolate mixture into the baking dish. Dollop the peppermint mixture over the top and swirl with a toothpick.
- Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies over the swirled fudge while warm.
- Refrigerate for 2-3 hours until set, then lift out using the parchment paper.
- Cut into squares and serve or package for gifts.
