Ingredients

For the Salmon
  • 4 fillets Salmon Freshly sourced salmon ensures the best taste and texture for the ultimate Marry Me Salmon experience.
For the Creamy Sauce
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream This rich ingredient gives the sauce its velvety texture; for a lighter option, use half-and-half.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Infuses the sauce with aromatic flavor, essential for that gourmet touch.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Adds richness to the sauce and helps in sautéing the garlic.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil Perfect for achieving that golden, crispy salmon skin when searing.
  • 1/4 cup White Wine Enhances flavors beautifully; substitute with chicken broth for a non-alcoholic version.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Herbs Use a mix of rosemary, thyme, and parsley for vibrant flavor.
  • Salt & Pepper Essential seasonings; adjust to your taste for the perfect flavor balance.

Equipment

  • Large skillet

Method

Cooking Instructions
  1. Start by seasoning the salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper. Allow them to rest at room temperature for 10 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the salmon skin-side up for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  3. In the same skillet, lower the heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in 1/4 cup of white wine to deglaze the skillet and let it reduce by half for about 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in 1 cup of heavy cream, simmer gently, then add 2 tablespoons of fresh herbs along with salt and pepper to taste. Let it thicken for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Return the seared salmon to the skillet, spoon the sauce over each fillet, and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Plate the Marry Me Salmon, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve immediately.
