Cooking Instructions
- Start by seasoning the salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper. Allow them to rest at room temperature for 10 minutes.
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the salmon skin-side up for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
- In the same skillet, lower the heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Pour in 1/4 cup of white wine to deglaze the skillet and let it reduce by half for about 2 minutes.
- Stir in 1 cup of heavy cream, simmer gently, then add 2 tablespoons of fresh herbs along with salt and pepper to taste. Let it thicken for 2-3 minutes.
- Return the seared salmon to the skillet, spoon the sauce over each fillet, and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
- Plate the Marry Me Salmon, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve immediately.
