  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract pure for best flavor
For the Apple Layer
  • 2 cups Fresh Apples chopped, preferably Granny Smith
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
For the Caramel Drizzle
  • 1 cup Caramel Sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt to sprinkle on top

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar. Beat until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Pour in vanilla extract and blend until silky.
  4. Peel, core, and chop apples into small chunks and toss with cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  5. Pour cheesecake filling into the baking pan and fold in the chopped apples gently.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until edges are set and center is slightly jiggly.
  7. Allow to cool on a wire rack for 15-20 minutes, then drizzle with caramel sauce.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving, then slice into squares.
  9. Just before serving, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the caramel drizzle.
