For the Tortellini and Creaminess
  • 1 lbs cheese tortellini frozen tortellini can be added directly
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream or half-and-half for a lighter option
For the Fresh Finish
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • 0.33 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Preparation Steps
  1. Start by spraying the insides of your CrockPot with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of the CrockPot.
  3. Pour marinara sauce over the chicken, then add garlic powder, onion granules, Italian seasoning, paprika, red chili flakes, and chicken broth.
  4. Cover the CrockPot and set it to LOW for about 4 hours, or until chicken reaches 165°F.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and return it to the pot.
  6. Stir in tortellini, mozzarella cheese, and heavy cream, mixing thoroughly.
  7. Cover and cook on LOW for an additional 30 minutes until the tortellini is tender.
  8. Gently stir in baby spinach and cook for an additional 10 minutes until wilted.
  9. Finally, stir in grated Parmesan cheese and adjust seasoning if needed.
