Method
 

Preparation Steps

  4. Coat each onion in the flour mixture after soaking.
  5. Heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep skillet or fryer.
  6. Fry the coated onions for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Mix mayonnaise, buttermilk, garlic powder, dill, salt, and pepper to prepare the dip.
