Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Press the Tofu: Wrap the extra-firm tofu in kitchen towels and press with a heavy object for 30-60 minutes to remove excess moisture.
  2. Prepare the Tofu: Cut the pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes and lay them out on a plate.
  3. Coat the Tofu in Cornstarch: Toss the tofu cubes in cornstarch until evenly coated.
  4. Prepare the Honey Garlic Sauce: Whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, fresh ginger, and red pepper flakes in a mixing bowl.
  5. Fry the Tofu Until Crispy: Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry tofu cubes for 5-7 minutes until golden-brown.
  6. Coat Tofu in Sauce: Transfer the crispy tofu to the bowl with the sauce and toss to coat thoroughly.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Transfer the glazed tofu to a serving platter, sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve warm.
