Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your ingredients and tools.
  2. Pound chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap to ¼ inch thickness.
  3. Season chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
  4. Layer two slices of ham and two slices of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast.
  5. Roll the chicken breasts tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  6. Dredge each chicken roll in flour, then dip in egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  7. Heat butter and olive oil in a large oven-proof skillet over medium heat.
  8. Brown chicken rolls in the skillet for 4-5 minutes on all sides.
  9. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  10. Prepare the creamy sauce by heating heavy cream and stirring in Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and Parmesan.
  11. Let the sauce thicken for about 5 minutes.
  12. Remove the toothpicks from chicken rolls and let rest for a few minutes.
  13. Slice each chicken roll into medallions and serve with creamy sauce and parsley.
