- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare an 8 or 9-inch baking dish by lightly spraying it with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, packed brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon. Mix these dry ingredients together, then add melted unsalted butter and blend until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- In a large bowl, add the sliced Granny Smith apples, granulated or brown sugar, fresh lemon juice, cornstarch, and ground cinnamon. Toss the mixture gently until well-coated.
- Spread the apple filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples to cover completely.
