Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and ½ teaspoon of salt.
  3. In another large mixing bowl, cream together ¾ cup of unsalted butter, ½ cup of brown sugar, and ½ cup of granulated sugar.
  4. Add in 1 large egg and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

  7. Drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
