- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Whisk until well incorporated.
- Make a well in the center and add warm milk, melted butter, and warm water. Stir gently until combined.
- Add the egg and mix thoroughly until the dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour.
- Combine softened butter, minced garlic, and parsley in a small bowl to make the garlic filling.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- Roll the risen dough into a 1/4 inch thick rectangle.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture on the dough and sprinkle with cheeses.
- Roll the dough into a log and slice into 12 pieces.
- Place the pieces upright in the muffin cups, cover and let rise for 20 minutes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
