Step-by-Step Instructions for Caramel Apple Pie Bombs
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Melt 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cook for about 5 minutes until apples are tender.
  3. Separate and flatten biscuit dough pieces to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  4. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of cooled apple mixture onto each biscuit, then add one piece of caramel candy.
  5. Pinch the edges of each biscuit to seal tightly and roll into a ball.
  6. Place sealed biscuit balls seam-side down in a greased baking dish.
  7. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter and brush over tops. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if desired.
