- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure even baking.
- Lightly coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray or butter.
- Layer half of the cubed brioche at the bottom of the prepared dish, add dollops of cream cheese and half of the strawberries.
- Cover with the remaining brioche cubes to ensure level absorption.
- Whisk together eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the custard over the layered brioche, pressing down slightly.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, ideally overnight.
- Remove from the fridge and let sit for about 30 minutes before baking.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until golden.
- Let sit for a few minutes, then cut into squares and serve, garnished with strawberries and optional confectioners' sugar.
