  • 0.5 cup Heath Riles BBQ Brown Sugar Honey Habanero BBQ Glaze or preferred BBQ sauce mixed with honey

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your Traeger Ironwood XL grill to 275°F using Royal Oak Charcoal Hardwood Pellets.
  2. Trim the boneless skinless chicken breasts, then slice them into nugget-sized pieces.
  3. Combine the chicken pieces with both BBQ rubs in a large bowl, ensuring each nugget is coated.
  4. Cut the bacon strips into thirds, wrap each chicken piece, securing with a toothpick.
  5. Mix light brown sugar with 1 tablespoon of each BBQ rub and sprinkle over the wrapped chicken.
  6. Place the chicken bites on the preheated grill and grill for about 45 minutes.
  7. Brush the BBQ glaze over the chicken bites at the 45-minute mark and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
  8. Remove from the grill, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
