Delicious homemade crepes filled with rich chocolate hazelnut spread, perfect for a decadent treat.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
  • Powdered sugar, for garnish
  • Fresh berries, for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt in a large bowl. Whisk until silky.
  2. Allow the batter to rest for about 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat a non-stick skillet or crepe pan over medium heat and lightly coat with butter or cooking spray.
  4. Pour approximately ¼ cup of batter into the center of the pan and tilt to spread into a thin layer.
  5. Cook for 1-2 minutes until edges lift and underside is golden brown.
  6. Flip the crepe and cook for an additional minute on the opposite side.
  7. Place the crepe on a plate and repeat with remaining batter, stacking each crepe.
  8. Spread about 2 tablespoons of chocolate hazelnut spread on one half of a crepe, fold in half, then fold again to create a triangle.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm with fresh berries if desired.
