- 2 cans (16.3 oz each) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup pepperoni slices, chopped
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce (for dipping)
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray or butter.
- Open the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters.
- In a large bowl, combine the biscuit pieces, mozzarella cheese, chopped pepperoni, and Parmesan cheese. Toss until well mixed.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using).
- Pour the butter mixture over the biscuit mixture and toss until all pieces are evenly coated.
- Layer the coated biscuit pieces into the prepared bundt pan, pressing down gently as you go.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the biscuits are cooked through.
- Allow the monkey bread to cool for about 5 minutes before inverting it onto a serving plate.
- Serve warm with pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, substitute the pepperoni with chopped bell peppers, mushrooms, or olives.
- Experiment with different cheeses such as cheddar or provolone for a unique flavor twist.
