- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (any color)
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup snap peas
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
- Cooked rice or quinoa for serving
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the ground turkey and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Break it apart with a spatula as it cooks.
- Stir in the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the sliced bell peppers, broccoli florets, and snap peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the turkey and vegetables, stirring to coat everything evenly. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, if using.
- Serve hot over cooked rice or quinoa.
Notes
- For added heat, include red pepper flakes or a splash of sriracha in the stir fry.
- Substitute ground turkey with ground chicken or beef for a different flavor profile.
