Easy Shrimp Tacos are a quick and delicious meal featuring seasoned shrimp, fresh toppings, and warm tortillas.

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • Sour cream or Greek yogurt (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  3. While the shrimp are cooking, warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave until pliable.
  4. To assemble the tacos, place a few shrimp on each tortilla, then top with shredded cabbage, avocado slices, and chopped cilantro.
  5. Serve with lime wedges and a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt, if desired.
